2011 Annual Conference

ONLINE CONFERENCE REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED; ONLY WALK-IN CONFERENCE REGISTRATION WILL BE ACCEPTED IN NEW ORLEANS.  WALK-IN REGISTRATION FOR THE CONFERENCE IS $450 AND WE CANNOT GUARANTEE AVAILABILITY OF CONFERENCE EVENTS

Come back to the age of Jazz in one of America's most historic cities - New Orleans. The 2011 ALSB conference will be held at the historic Roosevelt Hotel, part of the Waldorf Astoria collection of hotels from August 9-13, 2011.

Wednesday: two plenary workshops: in the morning "Empirical Legal Research" and in the afternoon “The Technology of Teaching: Matching the Media to the Message.”

 

Friday: the Master Teacher Symposium in the morning followed by a sumptuous lunch at the Tea Room at the Audubon Zoo itself to be followed by optional walks through the zoo (we’ve made sure that everything, other than the outside) is AIR CONDITIONED!   (http://www.auduboninstitute.org/visit)

 

You will get three nights (Wed-Friday) to visit the French Quarter---right across the street from the hotel---and the wonderful restaurants available there as well as the shops and cafes.(http://frenchquarter.com/dining)
